CHAMPIONSHIP OFF ROAD RACING INVADES THE FAIRPLEX ON MAY 19TH AND 20TH

Newport Beach, CA (May 10, 2007) — For the first time Championship Off Road Racing will be displaying its heart pounding, fender-to-fender style of racing at the Fairplex located in Pomona, CA . On May 19th and 20th, CORR’s heroes return for the second race weekend of the 2007 season.

As a result of the intense battles that took place at the Antelope Valley Fairgrounds, Fairplex will be the track to revisit feuds and see NASCAR driver Robby Gordon take another shot at racing in a Pro 2. On Sunday May 20th Gordon will race in a Baldwin prepared Pro 2 for round four of the CORR Lucas Oil series, as well as the NBC broadcast Jason Baldwin Memorial Cup Series qualifier.

In CORR’s first race weekend, Jerry Whelchel and Rob MacCahren came out tied in the Pro 2 points race. Whelchel driver of the #41 Monster Energy Drink Ford ran strong, finishing second in round one and winning round two. MacCachren driver of the #29 Red Bull BFGoodrich Ford battled in every round up front to win round one and finish second in round two. These two front runners in the Pro 2 class are bound to keep things interesting in 2007.
